Licenciada en Ciencias Biológicas, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1989). Magíster en Biología Molecular y Celular, Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad de Chile (1995). Beca de Investigación y especialización en Endocrinología Reproductiva, Fundación Rockefeller, IDIMI (1998).
Directora de 11 tesis de pregrado y 7 de postgrado 8 de postgrado (4 Magister y 4 Doctorado). Autora de 33 publicaciones en revistas indexadas e investigador responsable en tres proyectos FONDECYT regulares y co-investigador en 6 Proyectos FONDECYT.
Su principal interés es la investigación de Alteraciones moleculares, genéticas y endocrinas de la falla espermatogénica primaria.
